The Department of Economics of Lawrence University, a selective liberal arts college in Appleton, Wisconsin, invites applications for a visiting faculty member for the fall 2012 academic term, which begins September 10th and ends November 20th, and might be extended for additional terms. Applicants from all fields will be seriously considered. Our ideal candidate would be someone who is either an accomplished teacher seeking to supplement a one-semester sabbatical with one term of teaching at a liberal arts college with first-rate undergraduates or finishing his or her Ph.D and considering a career at a selective liberal arts college.

Application Instructions:

Applications should include a CV, a statement of teaching philosophy, two letters of recommendation (for junior candidates only), and evidence of effective teaching.
