The School of Business and Economics at Lynchburg College invites applications for a tenure-track position in economics at the Assistant Professor level for the 2012-13 academic year. The ideal candidate will be able to teach microeconomic theory, health economics, and energy/resource economics, and will share in the teaching of the principles courses. We are looking for someone who enjoys teaching and who is willing to strive for teaching excellence in support of the institution's liberal arts mission. Scholarship leading to peer-reviewed publication is expected. A completed or substantially completed Ph.D. in economics required. Selected candidate must complete a background check that is satisfactory to the College.
