Hunan University is a leading comprehensive university in China affiliated with Ministry of Education and included in China "211 Project" and "985 Project" for priority investment and construction.
The university plans to recruit overseas talents at all levels in the following areas: Theoretical Economics, Applied Economics, Laws, Management Science and Engineering, Business Management, Statistics and other scientific disciplines. We are sending a delegation to hold job interviews during the 2012 AEA meeting.
The candidates for the associate professor should be under the age of 35 and have their PhD degrees completed. The candidates for Associate Professors and Professors should be under the age of 40 and have titles of Assistant Professors or Associate Professors in overseas famous institutions of higher education. The candidates for Chair Professors should be under the age of 50 and must be a well-known scholar or professor in their research field.
The compensation package is very competitive and commensurate with research abilities and academic reputations. The package includes startup funds and housing support.
