The Department of Economics at the Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Sao Paulo, Brazil, invites applications for an assistant professor positions in Public Economics beginning in 2013.
Basic qualifications: A.B.D. status or a Ph.D. in economics with expertise in public economics. Applicants who are A.B.D. must complete all requirements for the Ph.D. by August 15, 2013 to be appointed as an assistant professor; otherwise, the initial appointment will be at the rank of instructor with the understanding that the Ph.D. must be completed by June 30, 2014. Applicants must have high quality publications or potential for such as demonstrated by works in progress.
