The Department of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley is accepting applications to fill current and future part-time lecturer positions to teach undergraduate classes in the summer or in the fall or spring semesters, in the subject areas listed below:

Core Courses:
- Introduction to Economics (Principles of micro and macro)
- Economic Analysis - Micro (Theory)
- Economic Analysis - Macro (Theory)
- Economic Statistics and Econometrics

Upper-division courses (100-200 level) in general, but particularly within the following areas:
- Psychology and Economics
- Financial Economics
- Public Economics
- Economic Development
- International Trade
- International Monetary Economics

General Duties: Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) delivering lectures, managing graders and/or teaching assistants, holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and maintaining a course website.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Economics or a related discipline and a track record of distinguished teaching at the undergraduate level.

- Statement of Teaching Philosophy
- A copy of transcript which verifies highest degree earned
- Evidence of Teaching Effectiveness (preferably teaching evaluations)
