American Economics Association Annual Conference 2012

Renmin University of China (RUC) is a comprehensive research university focus on humanity and social science as one of the leading universities in China. We have 8 national key disciplines and 33 national key sub-disciplines, ranking No.1 in humanity and social science among Chinese universities.

According to "China Discipline Ranking 2009" (CDR), we have 7 disciplines ranking No. 1 in terms of Theoretical Economics, Applied Economics etc, which is the most in humanity and social science among Chinese universities. We now are endeavoring to build a world class university, which primarily focuses on recruiting overseas talents to enhance faculty internationalization.
