Lebanon Valley College invites applications for a tenure track assistant or associate professor in economics beginning August 2012. Candidates must be have a Ph.D. and at least two years of teaching experience. The successful candidate will teach macro principles, intermediate macroeconomics, international economics, natural resource economics, econometrics, and courses in their field of expertise. The annual teaching load is eight courses.
Faculty are expected to advise majors, have an active research agenda or professional development agenda leading to refereed publications, and provide appropriate service to the campus and the community. Candidates must have a prior record of excellence in teaching, be committed to assessing learning outcomes, and support development of communications across the curriculum. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications.
