The Economics Department at University of California, Santa Cruz invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level (one field must be econometrics, additional field may be in any area of economics). Excellence in research and teaching are the primary criteria. The department is known for research in international economics, experimental, and applied microeconomics and has a Ph.D. program, a M.S. program, and several undergraduate programs. Applicants are expected to teach at undergraduate and graduate level, advise graduate students, and contribute to the research environment of the Department. The campus is especially interested in candidates who contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and/or service.
