We are recruiting for an assistant professor in agricultural economics, environmental economics, or natural resource economics. We seek candidates who have strong training in econometrics and microeconomic theory. The appointee is expected to develop a successful teaching and research program in agricultural/food economics, natural resource economics, and/or environmental economics. The specific research program will depend on the expertise and interests of the candidate.
Teaching responsibilities will be in accord with the departmental average, with the specific teaching assignment based upon departmental needs and the successful candidate’s interests. Other responsibilities include student advising and service.
This is an academic year (9 month) assistant professor position, which will include the expectation that the appointee conduct research of relevance to the California Agricultural Experiment Station. A Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, Environmental Economics, Natural Resource Economics, Economics, or a closely related field must be completed prior to the start date.
