Founded in 1952, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) is located in Chengdu, Sichuan, which is among the best Chinese cities to work and live. SWUFE is one of the national key universities affiliated with the Ministry of Education in China specializing in economics and business education, with 16,000 undergraduate and 5,000 graduate students. Over the last two years, the university has recruited more than 100 faculty members who attained PhDs in United States and other developed countries.
Founded in July 2010, SWUFE China Research Center for Educational Outcomes (CEO), based on the traditional competitive edge in economics and management of SWUFE, is currently the first and only institute focusing on the major theoretical and practical issues on education supply and demand of China. CEO serves to adapt education faster and better to economic and social development. The goal of CEO is to become a leading think tank in China.
CEO invites applications for faculty positions in Labor Economics and Educational Economics. The Positions is open to all ranks during whole 2011. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Labor Economics or Educational Economics or be in the process of completing it. Preference will be given to candidates who have a strong track record of published research, more than two years relevant teaching experience.
