Faculty Positions in Health Policy

The Department of Health Policy at The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services invites applications for up to two tenure-track faculty positions in health economics at the rank of Assistant Professor. The School is a fully accredited School of Public Health.

Basic Qualifications: Applicants must have Ph.D. in economics or allied field such as public policy or health services research, and the ability to participate in the department's extramural research program in economics and health policy. ABDs will be considered, but must complete the Ph.D. by May 1, 2012.

Applicants must submit a cover letter or statement, curriculum vitae, sample research paper, and letters from three references, and should be sent (electronically preferred) to dhpecon@gwu.edu or Search Committee, Department of Health Policy, George Washington University, 2021 K St, NW, Suite 800., NW, Washington, DC 20037. Only complete applications will be considered. Review of applications will begin on November 21, 2011 and will continue until the positions are filled. Applications received by December 14, 2011 will receive priority for interview at the ASSA meeting in Chicago in January 2012.
