Required Qualifications: MA or MS or equivalent degree in Economics or Applied Economics or a related field; at least one year experience working with large datasets of health or labor data; proficiency in Stata, SAS or Matlab and Stat-Transfer; high level experience using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint, and OneNote. Additional Qualifications Desired: Candidates with a firm command of measures of Louisiana population, economic indicators and geography will be given preference. Experience working with applied economic analysis tools such as BEA (RIMS) and IMPLAN 3. The ability to combine the aforementioned knowledge in new and creative ways to support and create research that is useful to the myriad of DED sponsors including but not limited to the Louisiana Workforce Commission; the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals; the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation, and Tourism; and the Louisiana Department of Economic Development.
