The Department of Economics invites applications for an approved full-time tenure-track position at the assistant professor level. The department's primary interest is in the area of Macroeconomics; expertise in monetary institutions a plus. The successful candidate will teach upper-level undergraduate courses in economics, and share in the department's commitment to teaching introductory economics courses that satisfy requirements in the University's core curriculum. A Ph.D. in economics completed by August 2012, an active research program, and a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching are required. Review of applications will begin on November 1 with an application deadline of November 18, 2011.
