Required qualifications:
* Minimum of ABD in Economics (any field) (Instructor rank)
* Demonstrated evidence of effective teaching in economics and communication skills appropriate to faculty position
* Experience teaching a minimum of one college-level course in economics
* Ability to teach principles of macroeconomics, principles of microeconomics, and statistics (currently the teaching load is 18-21 semester credits for the academic year)
* Willingness to engage in departmental and school service activities
Preferred qualifications:
* Ph.D. in Economics (any field) (Assistant Professor rank)
* At least one year of effective college teaching experience in economics
