The Sanford School of Public Policy seeks an outstanding scholar at any level who has research and teaching interests in social policy related to families and children, for a tenure-stream faculty position beginning in the fall of 2012.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a leadership role in the Duke Center for Child and Family Policy. We seek a scholar who has a strong record of funded research in an area such education policy, program evaluation, adolescent problem behavior, early childhood policy, or poverty. Discipline is open. The candidate will be expected to teach in the Sanford School's core and to mentor students in the School's undergraduate, Master's, and doctoral programs. The School and Center are described at www.sanford.duke.edu and www.childandfamilypolicy.duke.edu.
