The Graduate School of Economics and Management, Tohoku University, located in Sendai, Japan, invites applications for the position of a lecturer or an assistant professor in Public Policy for Aged Society in East Asia. The position is No Permanent, No Tenure Track or No Tenured. The candidate is required to have a Ph.D. in economics in hand at the time of appointment and a portfolio of research accomplishments. Regardless of nationality, anybody can apply. Sufficient communication skills of Japanese, however, are required. The appointment will be effective as early as possible after July 1, 2011.

According to circumstances, we will have the interview for selected candidates in Japan, not in the U.S. The candidates should come to Sendai, Japan, and participate the interview by yourself.
