The National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) has an opening for a Term Project Manager. The job is located on the campus of Stanford University, Stanford, California.

Successful applicants for this position:

1. Should demonstrate strong interest and experience in empirical research related to economics, public policy; and/or education.
2. Must be comfortable working with large datasets.
3. Experience with the statistical software Stata is required, as is knowledge of (or willingness to learn) database and other programs.
4. Good communications and organization skills is essential.
5. Travel to charter schools will be required.
6. Candidates must have a BA plus experience in research. Research experience could have been part of a degree program (BA thesis, MPP, Ph.D).

This is a full-time term position. Dependent on grant funding, it may be possible to extend the position for an additional term should this be mutually desirable.
