Subject to budgetary approval, the School of Economics has one or more openings, with rank open. At the senior level, the School particularly invites applications from micro and game theorists with a strong research record and evidence of sponsored research. At the junior level, the School invites applications from IO, trade, and environmental economists and is particularly interested in applicants with a mix of applied theoretical and empirical skills. The School offers an undergraduate degree (including joint degrees with the Schools of International Affairs and Modern Languages), a Professional Master's degree, and will offer a PhD degree beginning in Fall 2010. Georgia Tech is a Research I institution that provides significant opportunities for collaborative research and teaching across complementary disciplines such as environmental and industrial engineering, international affairs, public policy, and management.
