ZZ Head of Economics Department

SDSU invites nominations and applications for the Department Head of Economics, a 12-month tenure track position to begin January 1, 2008 or as negotiated. The Department Head is responsible for the leadership and management of one of the largest and most active departments in the College of Agriculture and Biological Sciences. As a member of the College of Agriculture and Biological Sciences leadership, the Department Head has a significant role in college and university strategic planning and initiatives. Required qualifications include an earned Ph.D. in Economics, Agricultural Economics, or closely related field; competences in research, teaching, and professional outreach; record of professional achievement in scholarship and research or business.
