Saint Joseph's University, the Jesuit University of Philadelphia, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professorship in economics beginning August 2008. Primary responsibilities include undergraduate teaching in economics and research. We are looking to fill a position in microeconomics; we will also consider applied fields, such as managerial economics, public economy and the economics of health care. The successful candidate will also teach introductory microeconomics. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in economics in hand by August 2008 and evidence of quality or potential quality in teaching and research.
