C1 Econometrics

The Department of Economics invites applications for appointment at the advanced assistant or untenured/tenured associate professor level. Our primary field interest is econometrics; applied micro- or macroeconomists with a strong econometrics background are also encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out research, supervise Ph.D. dissertation research, and teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels. The position requires a Ph.D., evidence of research excellence, and a commitment to teaching. Applicants must submit a letter of application along with a current vita and samples of written work. Assistant professor candidates should submit three letters of recommendation. Review of applications will begin September 15, 2007 and continue until the position is filled.
