I1 Health Economics

The Department of Economics and Finance invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning August, 2008. We seek candidates with research and teaching interests in health economics. The ability and desire to teach econometrics and involve undergraduates in your research is a plus. The successful applicants are also expected to teach principles of economics. An earned doctorate in economics is required for appointment. ABDs will be considered, but appointment to either position is conditional on completion of all doctoral work by August 15, 2008. A commitment to undergraduate education, active participation in the development of interdisciplinary programs, and high-quality scholarly research is expected. The teaching load is three courses each semester. In addition to teaching and research, faculty participate in the College community through a variety of service contributions.
