D0 Applied Microeconomics
The Department of Economics invites applications for two tenure track positions. We seek excellent teachers
with established research programs. Candidates must have successfully completed their final Ph.D. defense by
June 30, 2008. These positions offer competitive compensation packages and teaching responsibilities that will
enable the incumbents to maintain high impact research programs. Claremont McKenna College (CMC) is a
selective residential liberal arts college that specializes in Economics and Government and is located about 35

G0 Financial Economics
The Department of Economics invites nominations and applications for an endowed professorship and for
several tenure-track positions (at the assistant or associate level, depending on qualifications) in financial
economics. The positions offer competitive compensation and research support to facilitate production of high-impact research. Junior candidates must have completed the final Ph.D. defense by June 30, 2008. Claremont
McKenna College is embarking on a new curricular initiative, for which we expect to hire at least three
additional professors of finance. We anticipate teaching needs in several areas, including corporate finance,
investments, financial econometrics, asset pricing. CMC is a selective residential liberal arts college that
specializes in economics and public affairs. The Department (http://econ.cmc.edu/) has 22 members and
approximately 400 undergraduate majors. In addition to an economics major, the Department also offers a
financial economics sequence and the positions entail teaching in the finance core. The College subscribes to all
