The Department of Economics at the University of California-Santa Cruz invites applications for two tenure-track positions. One position, at the level of Assistant Professor, is in Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics (position #803-07). The other is in International Economics and may be appointed at either the Assistant or Associate Professor level (position #537-08). Excellence in research and teaching are the primary criteria for these positions. The department has a Ph.D. program specializing in international economics, an M.S. program in applied economics and finance, and several undergraduate programs. The campus is interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their research, teaching, and/or service.
