The Department of Economics and the Women's and Gender Studies Program invite applications for a tenured faculty appointment to the Susan and Barton Winokur Chair in Economics and Women's and Gender Studies, beginning fall 2008. We seek an established scholar whose research and teaching will support the missions of both programs. We welcome applications from candidates with expertise in areas including but not limited to economic development, labor economics, demography, economics of discrimination, and economics of the family. The successful candidate will have a superior record of publication, evidence of excellent teaching, and the ability to supervise graduate research. Appointment will be made at the full or associate level, depending on the candidate's experience and accomplishments. Interested candidates should send a cover letter, curriculum vitae, samples of recent scholarship, and the names of at least three referees.
