The Interdisciplinary Research Centre (IRC) of Yokohama National University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants should have a PhD in economics, finance or related fields. Applicants with expertise in any area of finance, such as financial economics, mathematical finance, computational finance, or financial econometrics, will be considered. The post is funded by the grant from Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology with the fixed term till March 2012. The tenure reviews occurs at the end of the third year and in March, 20. A successful candidate, who proves excellence in research and teaching, and proficiency in Japanese in either of these reviews, will be promoted to a tenured associate professor position. Salary is in the range of 6 million yen to 8 million yen per annum, according to the experience.
