The Discipline of Economics at The University of Sydney invites applications for a full-time tenure-track
position at the lecturer/senior lecturer/associate professor level in any area of macroeconomics. The
appointment will be made at a level appropriate to the successful applicant's qualifications and experience in
accordance with the selection criteria for each level. At the lecturer level this would include a PhD at or near
completion, with some evidence of teaching and research publications potential. Appointment at the senior
lecturer level would require at least five years lecturing, teaching, supervision and research experience with
evidence of a growing international reputation. An appointment at the associate professor level would be
expected to have at least 10-12 years teaching, lecturing, supervision and research experience with a proven
ability to attract competitive research funding and an outstanding record of publications in leading field
