PETROLEUM INSTITUTE, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates AF Any Field
Economics Faculty--The Petroleum Institute in Abu Dhabi is seeking applicants to teach General Economics
and other undergraduate Economics courses. Appointments at Assistant Professor and Associate Professor will
be considered, depending on qualifications. The minimum requirement is an earned Ph.D. in economics or a
closely related discipline from an established Western school. The Economics faculty works closely with the
five Engineering programs and the Foundation program in order to further develop and refine the curriculum
and pursue research opportunities. Comprehensive multi-discipline research facilities will come on line in the
near future, and opportunities exist to pursue collaborative or individual scholarship relevant to the oil and gas
industries. Appointments are anticipated for Spring 2008. Female candidates are particularly welcome to apply.
Salary / Benefits: The total compensation package includes û a highly competitive tax-free (in UAE) 12-month base salary, accumulating annual gratuity, and a competitive benefits package comprising annual
