OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY, Columbus, OH
Q0 Agricultural & Environmental Economics
Tenure-stream Faculty Positions (2 positions), Open Rank--The Department of Agricultural, Environmental,
and Development Economics seeks two faculty appointees. The rank for both positions is open, but the
Department has a strong preference that at least one of the appointees has a proven record of research and
publication. These appointees are expected to make important contributions to the Department's quest for pre-eminence in research, teaching, and outreach. We are seeking individuals who can provide exemplary
leadership in our research and teaching programs (undergraduate and graduate), while continuing the tradition
of outreach to state, national, and global stakeholders. The position is broadly defined. Some possible areas of
emphasis include agricultural, business, energy, and environmental economics broadly defined. Our over-riding
objective in this search will be to appoint individuals who enhance our outstanding faculty. Both positions are
nine-month tenure track positions. Salaries will be commensurate with the appointees' qualifications and
records. Candidates should possess a doctorate in economics or an applied economics field, or expect to have
one by June 2008. Applications will be accepted until September 30, 2007 or until the positions are filled.
Nominations of qualified individuals are encouraged. Send a statement of interest and qualifications, a current
CV, and the names of three references to: Marvin T. Batte, Chair of Search Committee, Department of
Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics, The Ohio State University, 2120 Fyffe Road,
Columbus, OH 43210-1067 (Phone: 614-292-6406; Fax: 614-292-0078; E-mail: batte.1@osu.edu;

disabilities, minorities, veterans, and women. EEO/AA employer.
