Development Economics: The Elliott School of International Affairs and the Department of Economics at the George Washington University seek to hire a distinguished senior scholar in the field of development economics with an outstanding national and international reputation for high-quality research. We seek a candidate who is also a dedicated educator and who will be an active contributor to the degree programs of the Elliott School (BA and MA) and the Economics Department (PhD). The University seeks to attract an active, culturally and academically diverse faculty of the highest caliber; women and minority candidates are particularly encouraged to apply. Basic qualifications: PhD in Economics with a focus on development, evidence of strong teaching and an active scholarly research agenda.
