Human Capital Research Corporation (HCRC), a privately held higher education research consultancy, is seeking an extraordinary individual with creative, quantitative and leadership talents. HCRC's efforts focus primarily on the formulation of initiatives aimed at raising institutional, individual and societal returns to education. Our portfolio of clients includes colleges and universities, financial institutions, units of government, foundations and consortia. Analysts at HCRC work closely on a variety of projects related to higher education research and policy. Work will involve developing and conditioning data warehouses, performing descriptive analyses, developing predictive models and simulations, forecasting enrollment, writing reports and presenting to diverse audiences. Ideal candidates will possess an advanced degree in applied statistics, economics or a social science field with a strong emphasis on quantitative and statistical methods. Minimum of 5 years hands- on experience working with data and translating research findings into actionable strategy and practical solutions - experience working with or in higher education in general, and financial aid and admissions in particular is a plus.
