Timber-Land Valuation Analyst--Plum Creek is the United States largest privately held land owner and we're rapidly growing! The Land Valuation Analyst uses Geographic Information Systems ('GIS'), real estate, and economics expertise to develop, implement and maintain models used in strategic decision making with respect to capturing the highest values from our land assets considering market and land attributes. Develops and deploys strategic models and tools. Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Geography, Real Estate, Natural Resources, Economics, Business, Forestry or equivalent with GIS certifications or equivalent experience. MBA with emphasis in Real Estate or Natural Resources Economics preferred. Experience Required: GIS certification or equivalent experience, training and 5-10 years of progressive GIS analysis and modeling work experience. Ability to apply and analyze statistical modeling techniques, such as regression analysis and simulation modeling, required. Understanding of financial concepts such as Net Present Value and Internal Rates of Return required. Travel: Up to 15% required. Salary: 58,200-77,300 plus 28% bonus opportunity.
