Director, Disputes & Investigations Practice-- Navigant Consulting, Inc. We are seeking a Director to be a part of our Disputes & Investigations practice in our New York City office. Our Litigation practice focuses on assisting corporations and their counsel in addressing the issues associated with complex disputes and investigations throughout the entire litigation process. As testifying experts, we prepare and deliver testimony in depositions, arbitrations and trials. As a Director at Navigant, you will work closely with testifying experts and senior management to help manage and oversee the expert witness process. Additionally, you will work closely with our attorney clients and others in order to help prepare for expert witness testimony. Other responsibilities include project managing, overseeing the financial analyses for damage quantification, ensuring QC, undertaking statistical and econometric assignments, creating and preparing expert witness support binders, and managing junior staff. Basic Requirements: - Ph.D. or ABD with a focus in Financial Economics and/or Econometrics; 10 years experience working in a consulting environment is desired, preferably in a litigation or regulatory context; strong statistics and financial modeling skills; SAS and SQL skills; ability to work under tight deadlines; excellent project management skills and the ability to handle simultaneous engagements.
