RESEARCHERS: Mathematica Policy Research
(MPR) is seeking economists with interest and
experience in policy research work in education,
labor, welfare, health economics, and related
applied microeconomic fields. Researchers
collaborate with senior staff in designing research
approaches for studies, identifying appropriate
analytical methods, conducting rigorous analyses,
writing reports, and presenting findings to policy
and professional audiences. Researchers should
have strong analytic and quantitative skills and
possess a Ph.D., or be close to receiving a Ph.D. by
summer 2007, in an applied microeconomic field
such as health, education, welfare, or labor.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are
essential. Experience in policy research is a plus.
