E0 Macroeconomics

The Economics Department invites applications for two faculty positions: one of them in the field of Macroeconomics. A Ph.D. degree and commitment to excellence in independent research and teaching are required. The position is available starting July 2007. Members of the Department of Economics typically teach both undergraduate and graduate courses and develop research projects at the Economic Development Research Center CEDE. This Center was established in 1958 and is a leading Latin-American economic research institute, with a permanent research staff of 35 members, 23 of which are Ph.D.s from the best universities in USA and Europe. Los Andes University is a private university and is widely recognized as the best in the country. It is located in Bogota, Colombia's capital. Applicants must be fluent in Spanish.
