The Business Administration Department at York
College of Pennsylvania invites applications for a
one-year visiting position in Economics beginning
August 2007. The ideal candidate would have a
doctorate in Economics and teaching experience,
although ABD's will be considered. Teaching
responsibilities will include four undergraduate
courses each semester in microeconomics,
macroeconomics and possibly an introductory level
finance course. Depending on the successful
candidate's background, statistics is also a
possibility. York College is a comprehensive college
offering over 50 baccalaureate majors in the arts and
sciences, and in professional fields as well as
master's programs in business, education and
nursing. The Business Department at York College
is accredited by ACBSP and offers the MBA as
well as undergraduate majors in business
administration, management, marketing, accounting,
economics and finance, and information systems.
The college has an enrollment of 4500 full time
undergraduate students, 1000 part time
undergraduate students, and 350 graduate students.
The campus is located in South-Central
Pennsylvania, (50 miles north of Baltimore), and
