The Department of Economics invites applications for a term appointment for the Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 semesters at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor. Teaching load is three courses per semester but only two preparations. Ability to teach public finance or antitrust economics is a plus, but all fields will be considered. We offer competitive salaries and excellent research facilities. Outstanding teaching ability and enthusiasm for teaching in a highly selective, primarily undergraduate, liberal arts and sciences institution are essential. Some teaching experience is desirable. Ph.D. preferred; however, candidates with dissertation in progress will be considered for the rank of Instructor. Applicants should send vitae and evidence of teaching effectiveness (if available), and arrange for us to receive at least three letters of reference.
