The Economics Department of Reed College invites applications from economists who are strongly committed to undergraduate teaching for two or more visiting positions, at least one of which will be for two years, to begin in the fall of 2007. Candidates should be prepared to teach advanced undergraduate courses and to participate in the advising of senior theses. Individuals interested in this position should send a letter of application, curriculum vitae, graduate transcripts, and a recent research paper, and should arrange for three letters of recommendation to be submitted. Candidates with the Ph.D. degree by August 2007 are preferred, but ABD candidates will be considered. We expect to make this appointment at the assistant professor level, but will consider applications from more experienced persons.
