in the professorial ranks at IR/PS and as a Research
Director for International Environmental Policy at
IGCC. The person filling the position will have a
reduced teaching load and spend approximately
one-third of his/her time as Research Director at
IGCC. Candidates must have a PhD in a social
science discipline like economics or political science
and demonstrate a capability to teach and conduct
academic research on international environmental
(including energy policy) issues. The position will
begin July 2008. Salary and appointment levels
depend on experience and research records and are
based on University of California pay schedules.
