The Center for the Study of Poverty and Inequality at Stanford University is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to participate in the 2007-08 Mellon Foundation Sawyer Seminar on The Dynamics of Inequality. The fellow will attend monthly lectures by leading national and international scholars of poverty and participate in faculty seminars exploring the sources of long-term and recent trends in economic and other forms of inequality. The fellow is also expected to complete her or his own scholarship on issues of inequality or poverty. The appointment will be for one year with an effective start date of October 1, 2007. Candidates must have received their doctorate and completed no more than one year of post-degree research by the start of the appointment.
