CSWEP Board Member - Linda Goldberg
Linda's main research interests are in international macroeconomics, on exchange rates and real economic activity, on the international role of the dollar, and international banking. Her research explores the effects of exchange rate fluctuations on prices, domestic and foreign investment activity, and on labor market outcomes. Another line of frontier research work focuses on issues in international banking, including the exposure of U.S. banks to foreign markets and the implications for emerging markets of financial openness through participation of foreign-owned versus domestically-owned banks. Linda has a PhD in Economics from Princeton University (awarded 1988), and a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics, from Queens College, City University of New York with Honors, where she graduated with the honors of Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. She is a native of New York City and a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science. | ||||||||||||||||||
