Discusses the challenge--picking up the pieces; the goal--pro-growth immigration policy; the way--market-based immigration reform; and what the plan does not include and why. Orrenius is Research Officer and Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Adjunct Professor at the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University, and Research Fellow at the Tower Center for Political Studies at Southern Methodist University and at the Institute for the Study of Labor, Bonn. Zavodny is Professor of Economics at Agnes Scott College and Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor, Bonn. Index.
