American Economic Journal: Microeconomics: SubmissionsSubmission PolicyAny paper submitted to the AEJ: Microeconomics should NOT be under consideration for publication at another journal. All submitted papers must also represent original work, and should fully reference and describe all prior work on the same subject and compare the submitted paper to that work. Submission fees must be paid by credit card at the time of submission. We are unable to review manuscripts that have been previously rejected by the AEJ: Microeconomics. The AEJ: Microeconomics reserves the right to reject papers without review. Source information for tables, figures, maps, photos, and other artwork should be mentioned in the captions. For material that is copyrighted, you must obtain a letter of permission from the copyright holder. In the US, Canada, EU countries, and Japan, copyright is automatically granted for photos to the owner(s) of the photos. Submission FeesAEA members pay only $100, so join the AEA now and save! Submission InstructionsPapers should be submitted electronically to http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/aej-microUpon receipt of the paper, a confirmation email will be sent electronically. The submission is not complete if a confirmation email has not been received. AEJ: Microeconomics will publish twice during 2009 (February, August) and quarterly thereafter (February, May, August, November). The Economist names AEJ Micro Board of Editor Marc Merlitz one of eight best young economists. He is cited as "a pioneer of the 'new, new trade theory.'"
