Community of Science
"Community of Science (COS) is a network of more than 200,000
scientific researchers from hundreds of institutions around the world.
Our mission is to help researchers find funding, collaborate with
colleagues, and promote their research." While individuals can become
members for free, the searchable grant database is only available to
member institutions (currently, there are some 200). They offer
"COS Funding Opportunities," a daily updated, e-mail funding alert
that draws on this database of available research grants and awards.
A naive search on "economic" yielded some more than 1,000 hits (many
were extremely specific).
