Forecasting Principles
This site is authored by J. Scott Armstrong of the Wharton School.
It "provides a comprehensive and structured review of the state of
knowledge about forecasting methods. The result is a set of
principles to forecast in management, operations research, and the
social sciences." It is designed for researchers, practitioners and
for teachers. For all, it offers an FAQ and a dictionary. For
researchers it offers an extensive set of links to the literature,
while for teachers it offers links to books and courses. For
practitioners it has links to forecasts, details on how to select
forecasts, forecasting software, data sources, and how to conduct a
forecasting audit and how to get help. Finally, it offers
information on the book "Principles of Forecasting," and links to
conferences.
