Description:	Third German Research Forum on Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises - 3. Forum der deutschen Mittelstandsforschung

Subject:	This year's conference theme is "Challenges for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises: Energy Turnaround, Globalisation and Demography". The forum serves as a platform to discuss new ideas in this field between theory and practice. To serve this purpose, the forum on topics relating to small and medium-sized businesses is held every two years. The conference is targeted of representatives from research and academia with an interest in management and economics of small and medium-sized enterprises, and at representatives of the areas of politics and professional associations. Das Forum dient als Plattform für den Austausch zwischen Wissenschaft und Praxis über mittelstandsrelevante Fragestellungen in der Wirtschaftspolitik sowie in der Betriebswirtschaft und dem Management. Zu diesem Zweck veranstalten die Initiatoren des Forums in zweijährigem Turnus eine Fachkonferenz. Die Konferenz richtet sich an Vertreter aus Forschung und Lehre mit dem Interessengebiet der betriebs- und volkswirtschaftlichen Mittelstandsforschung sowie an Interessierte aus Politik, Verbänden und unternehmerischer Praxis.
