| Subject: | The primary objective of the Tripartite High-Level Meeting: Decent Work for Sustainable Development in the Pacific is to gain political commitment and strengthen the partnership between the ILO and its tripartite constituents of workers, employers and government for the implementation of the Decent Work Country Programmes for Pacific Island Countries. Over the course of the meeting participants will work to identify constraints and opportunities to full implementation of the Decent Work Country Programmes, particularly in light of the global economic crisis and climate change.
