| Subject: | The Association of Christian Economists will sponsor two sessions at the ASSA annual meetings. One session will be a panel discussion and will be organized by John Lunn. The second session will concern the area of economics and religion. More specifically, this session may consider papers on the determinants of religious donations and other activities, papers on how people's religious beliefs, values, and worldviews affect their behaviors, papers on religious history and culture as related to economic development, and others that fit within the broad category of economics of religion. This would include criticisms of the application of economics to religious activity. |
