| Subject: | The purpose of the seminar is to discuss ideas and present research findings on the impacts of the key instruments, introduced by the CAP 2003 reform, on agriculture and agri-food sectors in the EU-15 and the new EU Member States. The seminar will address: a) theoretical issues of decoupling; b) empirical studies about the implications of decoupled payments, introduced by 2003 reform, for European farming and land management; and c) adjustments of the new EU Member States to the decoupled payments and cross compliance.
