| Subject: | Climate change is one of the greatest collective action problems facing the international community. The fiscal implications of climate change are, arguably, immediate, lasting, and they are liable to affect all countries, albeit in rather different forms and degrees. The aim of this conference is to bring together the latest research that addresses issues related to the fiscal implications of climate change. This includes contributions that investigate issues such as: fiscal instrument design; the global public good characteristic of pollution emission reductions; fiscal aspects of adaptation and mitigation; aspects of international environmental policy coordination; and aspects of trade policy design.
